Tarantulas in the OC, part II
So I go 30 years never seeing a tarantula in Orange County to running into two in two weeks! And this one my friends is a monster. Compare this shot to the Tarantulas in the OC, part I. I reckon it’s about double the size. Now I’m no biologist, but it looks to me to be a different species? Any scientists out there that can let us know what we are dealing with here? Are these guys poisonous, deadly, or can I pick one up and take it home? I need a new pet.

Shark vs. Shark
Our resident hellman Anthony Walsh most recently tackled another challenge while on a trip to South Africa. This time it wasn’t giant surf, it was a giant Shark.
We are happy to report his trusty Shark Watch made the dive with him and both are now safe on dry land. Like we’ve been saying, knock knock, who’s there? Just the baddest little watch on the planet!

Tarantulas in the OC!

Welcome to the Freestyle Wildlife Chronicles! While mountain biking El Moro Canyon in Laguna Beach we came across this fury monster of a spider. I took off my watch so you’d have a size reference. Imagine one of these creeping into your sleeping bag!
