Q&A - Personal

Why do you like this sport?

It is another extention of surfing and allows you to make sections you wouldn't ever make without a kite. It is the most challenging and fulfilling sport I have ever done in my life. Every time I kite I learn something new.

What inspires you to compete?

I haven't competed yet, but I plan to in the future. Kitesurfing is new in the market, and US competitions are not as predominant as other mainstream sports.

Some Personal Information About Me:

Team Rider for Caution Kites and Hotline Wetsuits both out of Santa Cruz.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I have a normal job, Project Engineer for a large commercial construction firm. I do cross train by surfing and working out in the gym weekly. I was a collegiate athlete (swimming) and got my way paid through college.

Music?

Rock n Roll.
