Overview

How I got started

I started riding when I was 12 years old. I started racing Jr. Enduros and Harescrambles when I was 14 years old. I race with the New England Trail Riders series. I have been racing both Enduros and Harescrambles series. This generally covers every weekend.

Goals for the Future

I plan on continuing racing all the series but keying on the Senior Enduros. In that time I hope to get a few wins. If one of the GNCC races are close enough I would like to compete in one of those.

Why do you like this sport?

This sport really puhes me to my physical limit . I challange myself ever time I go out. There are so many good people in the sport that I am meeting and becoming my freinds.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I ride my bike a couple of times a week plus the races. I try to ride with some of my freinds who are A and AA riders. I also do some weight training and ride my mountain bike.

Why do you compete?

I am an active person. I tried various team sports but they did not do much for me. My parents bought me my first bike and I really enjoyed it. They took me to my first race which I had a DNF but I really enjoyed it so I stuck with it. That was a few years ago and I am happy with my progress.
