I just want to improve my surfing and have fun with my friends. Competing has also led me to travel to places I probably wouldnt have gone otherwise.
As soon as I stood up on a surfboard for the first time, I was hooked. It gave me this crazy adrenaline rush that I had never felt before. It was the best feeling ever. I love surfing because I love the ocean and the waves. Surfing have also led me to meet awesome people and travel to amazing places.
I train for surfing by running track in the winter and spring. It builds up my endurance and my cardio, as well as increasing my leg and arm muscle. I also snowboard and skateboard when I dont get the chance to surf.
I really would like to be a pro surfer who travels for photos, but I would compete if I had to. I just want to be one of those surfers who is pushing surfing on the female side. I want to bring female surfing up to par with male surfing, like the crazy airs they do and the power. I want to help progress female surfing to that level, but not necessarily through contests. If that doesnt work out, I want to be an architect or own a business.
Cali was the best trip I have ever been on (so far). I went with my friend, her mom, and her brother. I got to miss school and we scored epic Huntington and got a fun session at Trestles. It was awesome.
